Alan C Jones has staged well over 100 amateur productions, including no fewere than 36 in the King’s Theatre, Glasgow. The range of his work has included Viennese and French operetta, the Gilbert and Sullivan operas and American and British musicals. Mack and Mabel will be his sixth consecutive production for the Lyric Club. Other engagements during the 2002 – 2003 season included Carousel for GLOC at the King’s and Half a Sixpence for Stirling and Bridge of Allan in the newly renovated MacRobert Centre. He is also lined up to direct our 2004 production of Chess.

Rehearsals are always fun with Alan and the Lyric Club is certainly delighted to have the benefit of his vast experience and special talent.
